With the world facing continuous challenges, it is significant to remain calm and follow the law of nature.
Understanding mindfulness and acting upon it helps one establish the right livelihood. When preached, it results in freedom from one's sufferings and bondages of life.
Happy Living
Yīng Huā Forest Mindfulness Retreat and Café is a serene and non-sectarian space dedicated to practising mindfulness, especially Vipassana and mindful living. Inspired by the Buddha’s philosophy, we offer courses to deepen your mindfulness practice and promote inner peace. Our café, based on a Zen landscape, serves carefully crafted vegan, soy-free, nut-free, and mostly gluten-free meals based on Qi and Sattvic principles, designed to nourish both body and mind.
The name "Yīng Huā" means cherry blossoms in Chinese, which holds deep significance across China, Japan, Korea, India, etc. Cherry blossoms represent the fleeting nature of life, reminding us that our time on earth, like the short-lived bloom, is temporary. This teaches us the importance of mindfulness — living fully in the present moment without clinging to the past or worrying about the future. At Yīng Huā Forest, we embrace this philosophy to help individuals transform their lives by learning to appreciate the beauty of now, let go of unnecessary stress, and find peace in the transience of life.
Practising mindfulness through meditation and holistic living can be life-changing. It cultivates a greater sense of calm, helps manage anxiety, and promotes mental clarity. By incorporating the values of impermanence and gratitude into daily life, individuals can experience more profound emotional well-being and a renewed appreciation for the world around them. At Yīng Huā Forest, we offer tools and guidance to make these transformations a reality, empowering people to live more joyful and peaceful lives.
While our café is still under construction, we have an active online presence where you can explore our offerings, including the Ying Hua Diet—an online course centred around our holistic dietary approach. Powered by Book Ecke, Yīng Huā Forest donates 25% of its profits to wildlife and nature conservation projects and the preservation of the Buddha’s heritage, creating a space where personal growth and community support go hand in hand.
